One of my roles in the world these days is serving as a scientific advisor for a little company called Ayble Health. There’s been a huge influx of technologies to try to bridge the massive gaps – canyons really – in access to what we do here at OPBMed. I was approached by several of these companies to consult, but I chose to work with Ayble, in part, because its CEO is an ulcerative colitis patient.
We recently had findings from 200 users of Ayble’s “digital collaborative care model” to help manage IBS symptoms accepted in the journal Neurogastroenterology and Motility. Using a combination of dietary interventions and mind-gut therapies like CBT, ACT, and hypnotherapy… most people got a lot better.
